Digital Retinal Imaging

Digital retinal Imaging allows us to record a picture of the inside of the eye and is a valuable tool in the detection and management of eye conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Retinal Imaging contributes to our ability to provide you with the highest standard of Eyecare.

Retinal Imaging is usually performed without the use of eye drops and is a painless and completely safe procedure. We store your retinal images and monitor any changes each time you come in for your regular eye examinations. We are able to forward images to your general practitioner and to ophthalmologists when required.
